Yay my first journal entry...yabadabadoooo!
Ok first of all how are you guys? Alles fit im Schritt?
Dunno why I suddenly have an urge to write but I do...gotta grab this chance by it's tail as long as it's here.
Some little facts about me:
-I'm a huge daydreamer (I'm your female JD from Scrubs) Gimme popcorn and I'll stare for many hours into space because the movies in my head are the best.
-I can't imagine my life without music and art. And every day I think how beautiful and fascinating our world is.
-I like expressing myself through drawings and the process of their creation is something like meditation to me. So the result isn't that important in the end and it isn't my goal to become a pro. Even if I had talent xD
-I LOVE YAOI MUHAHA are you surpised? Really? Seriousely? NO? Me neighter.
-And a LGTB supporter (remember the yaoi fact above)
-I love mangas. And I've read tons and tons so far.
My favourites are:
Kuroshitsuji: This manga was the very first I've started reading and I'm still completely in love with it. Art, story everything is perfect. It's my cup of tea.
Pandora Hearts: This manga is the frist that made me cry. Really it touched me because there are some parts that I could compare with some experiences I made in my life. So yeah.
Death Note: Entertainement on it's highest level. The story is unique and fantastic. Every character has a special place in my fangirl heart.
Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru: Second manga that made me cry and feel disgust at the same time. It's art is special but you get used to it. And the story is really sad and shocking.
Saezuru tori wa Habatakanai: Super yaoi. Love the main charas.
Ok, not a long time ago I realised that nowadays a lot of ppl actually know what mangas are. And I'm also quite surprised that even some of my collegues at work are pretty bad game nerds...(they're in their thirties)...geeks?
And then today happened this:
My grandma's visiting us right now because we live in two different countries. And this summer, it's one of those times when she visits us for several months.
Today I decided to reread some Kuroshitsuji chapters of the school arc...
So when I was reading it my grandma suddenly appeared from behind and said in a proud manner: "I know mangas! We have them in our country too!"
My reaction: o.O
Then she continued: "Yes, they sell it in our shop next door".
Me: "Gran, I'm not surpised because they sell it but because you know what it is!"
She: "Of course I know what it is, I've even tried it and it was delicious!"
Me: O.O' ... *sudden realization*... ^_____^'
"Grandma those things are called MANG-Os...not mangas!"
Granny: "Yes, MangOs!"
Me: "Wanna piece?"
lol she was talking about the mango I was eating when I was reading Kuro. I'm such a genius.
Haha aren't old people cute But you know she's the BOSS when she's using my I Pad And manga are indeed very popular so it wouldn't have been much of a surprise if she'd actually known what it is
Aah...there are so many stories that are similar to this one but it would take too much space to write about them. Spend some more times with your grandparents because you can learn alot from them...and they from you aswell
Mangas and Mangos rock!
- I like Mangos.
